This class is intended to create a foundation for individuals in the injection molding industry. The course will introduce students to the injection molding machine and its components, materials used in the molding process, the mold, and the process. Students will also learn the machine controller, injection molding terminology, and the purpose and function of process components. The hands-on learning will involve cause and effect discoveries while operating an injection molding machine.
